The Ashanti of United Kingdom, numbering approximately 28,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Akan, one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa, indigenous to the present-day countries of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire. They are an Diaspora people, in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Akan.
