The Gurung of Bhutan, numbering approximately 9,400 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the hills and mountains of Gandaki Province in Nepal and can also be known as Lhotshampa, Gurkhal. They are an Diaspora people, in the South Asian Buddhist people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Gurung.
