The Northern Pumi of China, numbering approximately 53,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a regional ethnolinguistic branch of the Pumi people of southwest China, distinguished primarily by language, geography, and historical identity, especially across the Sichuan–Yunnan borderlands They are an Indigenous people, with Chrame as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Tibetan people cluster of the Tibetan Peoples. Their primary religion is Tibetan Buddhism. They primarily speak Pumi, Northern.
