The Olot of China, numbering approximately 2,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an indigenous community of China; a dialect subgroup of Kalmyk-Oirat (xal). They are an Indigenous people in the Mongolian people cluster of the East Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Kalmyk-Oirat and their primary religion is Shamanism.
