The Enger Yugur of China, numbering approximately 5,400 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of China and can also be known as Shera Yogur, Shira Yughur, Enger, Enge’er, Eastern Yogor, Yugar, Yellow Uighur, Yogor, Yugu, Yögur. They are an Indigenous people, in the Uyghur people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Buddhism - Tibetan. They primarily speak Chinese, Mandarin.
