The So of Laos, numbering approximately 178,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Laos and can also be known as Lao Tung (Midland Lao), Lao Loum (Lowland). They are an Indigenous people, in the Mon-Khmer people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak So (Laos).
