They are an ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the mountainous Chin state of Myanmar along the border with northheastern India They are an Indigenous people, in the Kuki-Chin (Zo) people cluster of the Southeast Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Chin, Tedim.
