They are a small Indigenous ethnolinguistic people of western Ethiopia, living mainly along the Ethiopia–Sudan / South Sudan borderlands. They are an Indigenous people in the Nilotic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Komo (Sudan) and their primary religion is Animism.
