The Tamachek of Libya

The Tamachek of Libya, numbering approximately 24,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Tuareg Amazigh, indigenous to the Tamanrasset province of southeastern Algeria and neighboring areas in Libya and Niger . They are an Indigenous people, in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab World affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Tamahaq, Tahaggart.
