The Baya of Sudan, numbering approximately 18,500 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Sudan; a dialect subgroup of Northwest Gbaya (gya). They are an Diaspora people, in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Gbaya, Northwest.
