They are an ethnolinguistic community of Cameroon and can also be known as Parkwa, Padogo, Parekwa, Pawdawkwa, Paduko, Gwadi Parekwa, Podoko, Padoko, Padokwa, Kudala, Podokwa, Podokwu, Podogo, Podokwo. They are an Indigenous people, in the Chadic people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Parkwa.
