The Yambasa of Cameroon, numbering approximately 101,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Cameroon and can also be known as Gounou, Nu Gunu, Behie, Gunu, Yambasa, Ombessa, Yambassa, Beke. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Northwest people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Nugunu (Cameroon).
