They are an indigenous community of Central African Republic; a dialect subgroup of Northwest Gbaya (gya) and can also be known as Baya. They are an Indigenous people, in the Adamawa-Ubangi people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Gbaya, Northwest.
