They are an ethnolinguistic community of Côte d’Ivoire, Southern Department, Petit Alepe Subprefecture and can also be known as Mbato. They are an Indigenous people, in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Mbato.
