They are a Mande ethnic group indigenous to several West African countries and can also be known as Dioula, Dyula. They are an Indigenous people, in the Malinke-Jula people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Jula.
