They are an ethnolinguistic community of Côte d'Ivoire and can also be known as Worodougoukakan, Ouorodougou, Worodougou, Worodougou, Bakokan, Worodugu. They are an Indigenous people, in the Malinke-Jula people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Worodougou.
