They are an indigenous community of Nigeria; a dialect subgroup of Ebira (igb) and can also be known as Igbirra. They are an Indigenous people, in the Benue people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Ebira.
