The Tamasheq of Mauritania

The Tamasheq of Mauritania, numbering approximately 148,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Tuareg Berber, indigenous to the Kidal Region of northeastern Mali and can also be known as Tuareg, Kidal. They are an Diaspora people, in the Tuareg people cluster of the Arab World affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Tamasheq.
