They are a nomadic Fulani sub-group indigenous to the high plateaus of Guinea and other West African countries. They are an Indigenous people, in the Fulani / Fulbe people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Pular.
