The Khasonke of Senegal, numbering approximately 15,500 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnic group indigenous to Mali's Kayes region, descendents of the Fula and Malinke Khasso kingdoms and can also be known as Kassonke, Xasonga, Xaasonga, Kasonke, Kasson, Xaasongaxang, Kasso, Xasonke. They are an Diaspora people, in the Malinke people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Folk. They primarily speak Xaasongaxango.
