The Ashanti of Togo

The Ashanti of Togo, numbering approximately 94,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Akan, one of the largest ethnic groups in West Africa, indigenous to the present-day countries of Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire They are an Diaspora people, in the Guinean people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - African Traditional Religion. They primarily speak Akan.
