They are a Mbuti Pygmy people living in the Ituri Forest of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and can also be known as Asoa, Asua. They are an Indigenous people, in the Pygmy people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Asoa.
