They are an ethnolinguistic community of Democratic Republic of the Congo and can also be known as Lwalwa. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Luba people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Roman Catholicism. They primarily speak Lwalu.
