The Chagga of Tanzania, numbering approximately 1,190,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous ethnic group native to the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and parts of Mount Meru in northeastern Tanzania. They are an Indigenous people in the Bantu, Central-East people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Swahili and their primary religion is Roman Catholicism.
