The Makua of Tanzania, numbering approximately 917,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a central Bantu ethnic group indigenous to northern Mozambique and the southern border provinces of Tanzania . They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Makua-Yao people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Makhuwa-Meetto.
