The Nyamwezi of Tanzania, numbering approximately 2,480,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Tanzania and can also be known as Manjamuesi, Nyawezi, Kinyamuesi, Nyanyembe, Nyamwesi, Namwezi, Kinyamwesi, Mwezi. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-Tanzania people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Nyamwezi.
