The Tumbuka of Malawi

The Tumbuka of Malawi, numbering approximately 1,680,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a central Bantu ethnolinguistic group indigenous to the Chitipa and Karonga districts of eastern Mali and can also be known as Thumbuka. They are an Indigenous people, in the Bantu, Central-South people cluster of the Sub-Saharan African affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Tumbuka.
