The Akawaio of Guyana, numbering approximately 4,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Guyana and can also be known as Acewaio, Kapon, Akawai, Ingaricó, Akawai, Pemon, Ingariko, Acahuayo, Kapong, Akawayo. They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Akawaio.
