The Kalapalo of Brazil, numbering approximately 850 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Karib-speaking ethnic group of the Upper Xingu region and can also be known as Kuikuro, Kurkuro, Kalapalo, Guicurú, Apalaquir, Cuicutl, Kuikuru, Apalakiri. They are an Indigenous people, in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Kuikúro-Kalapálo.
