The Tukano of Brazil, numbering approximately 6,200 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a prominent group of Indigenous peoples in the northwestern Amazon, primarily along the Vaupés (Uaupés) River basin, spanning Brazil and Colombia and can also be known as Dachsea, Tukána, Tucano, Dahseá, Daxsea, Takuna, Dasea, Ye’pã-masa, Tukano. They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Tucano.
