The Amarakaire of Peru

The Amarakaire of Peru, numbering approximately 2,000 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a small Amerindian group who comprise part of the Harakmbet (Hate) linguistic family that once occupied large stretches of land in the province of Paucartambo, department of Cuzco, in eastern Peru They are an Indigenous people, in the South American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Amarakaeri.
