The Ashaninca of Peru, numbering approximately 64,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an Arawakan-speaking tribe of Amerindians in Peru, Apurimac, Ene, Perene, Tambo rivers and tributaries They are an Indigenous people, in the Amazon people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion. They primarily speak Asháninka.
