The Lahu of Laos

The Lahu of Laos, numbering approximately 15,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic community of Laos and can also be known as Lahu Na and Lahu Nyi, Lao Soung (Highland). They are an Indigenous people, in the Other Tibeto-Burmese people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Lahu.
