They are a diaspora community of Farsi-speaking Persians in Afghanistan and can also be known as Ebhele, Farsi, Irani, Parsiwan. They are an Diaspora people, in the Persian people cluster of the Persian-Median affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Shia. They primarily speak Persian, Iranian.
