The Turkmen of Kyrgyzstan, numbering approximately 2,100 people, are Unengaged and Unreached. They are a Turkic ethnic group indigenous to Central Asia, living mainly in Turkmenistan, northern and northeastern Iran, and northwestern Afghanistan. They are an Diaspora people in the Turkmen people cluster of the Turkic Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Turkmen and their primary religion is Sunni Islam.
