They are a small ethnic group native to Dagestan, in the North Caucasus region of Russia and can also be known as Archin. They are an Indigenous people, in the Caucasus people cluster of the Eurasian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Islam - Sunni. They primarily speak Archi.
