The Mayo of Mexico, numbering approximately 91,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Mexico, coastal south Sonora around Navojoa (Huatabampo); north Sinaloa (Los Mochis, Guasave, San Jose Rios, north of Guamuchil) and can also be known as Mayo, Yoreme. They are an Indigenous people, in the Central American Indigenous people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
