The Apasco-Apoala Mixtec of Mexico, numbering approximately 11,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethno-linguistic subgroup of the Mixtec, an indigenous Mesoamerican people of Mexico and can also be known as Northern Nochixtlán Mixtec, Apasco Mixtec, Apasco Mixtec; Apoala Mixtec; Mixteco de Santiago Apoala; Northern Nochixtlán Mixtec, Mixteco de Santiago Apoala, Apoala Mixtec. They are an Indigenous people, in the Mixtec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
