The Central Chatino of Mexico

The Central Chatino of Mexico, numbering approximately 26,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguistic subgroup of the Chatino, a family of indigenous Mesoamerican languages classified under the Zapotecan branch of the Oto-Manguean language family. They are an Indigenous people, in the Zapotec people cluster of the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
