The Kanjobal of Mexico, numbering approximately 10,500 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of Mexico and can also be known as San Miguel Acatán Kanjobal, Conob, Acateco, Western Kanjobal, Western Q’anjob’al, Acatec, Western Kanjobal; Akateko; Acatec; Acateco; Conob; San Miguel Acatán Kanjobal; Western Q’anjob’al, Akateko. They are an Indigenous people, in the Maya people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
