The Quiavicuzas Zapotec of Mexico, numbering approximately 2,800 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an ethnolinguisic subgroup of the Zapotec, an ethnic group indigenous to the state of Oaxaca, Mexico and can also be known as Northeastern Yautepec Zapotec; Zapoteco de Quiavicuzas; Zapoteco de San Juan Lachixila, Zapoteco de Quiavicuzas, Zapoteco de Quiavicuzas, Zapoteco de San Juan Laxichila O, Zapoteco de San Juan Lachixila, Northeastern Yautepec Zapotec, Zapotec Northeast Yautepec, Northeastern Yautepec Zapotec, Zapoteco de San Juan Lachixila, Zapoteco de San Juan Lachixila, Northeast Yautepec Zapotec. They are an Indigenous people, in the Zapotec people cluster of the Latin-Caribbean Americans affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Folk Catholicism. They primarily speak Spanish.
