The Viswakarma of India, numbering approximately 9,295,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a socio-cultural community of India comprised of five subgroups: carpenters, blacksmiths, bronzesmiths, goldsmiths, and stonemasons and can also be known as Chari, Akkasale, Viswabrahma, Assari, Ausala, Kakit, Badagi, Kammalan, Kamm. They are an Indigenous people, in the Viswakarma people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Tamil.
