The Vokkaliga of India, numbering approximately 6,575,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a major Kannada-speaking agrarian community of Karnataka historically associated with farming, landownership, local governance, and military service, and today one of the most socially and politically influential communities in southern India They are an Indigenous people, with Vokkaliga / Vakkaliga / Kunchitiga as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Vokkaliga people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Kannada.
