The Khasi of India

The Khasi of India, numbering approximately 1,670,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are an indigenous community of India; a dialect subgroup of Khasi (kha) and can also be known as Jaintia, Khasia, Bhoi, Lyngngam, Synteng, War, Pnar. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Christianity - Protestantism. They primarily speak Khasi.
