The Dhodia of India

The Dhodia of India, numbering approximately 887,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a Scheduled Tribe of Gujarat and Maharashtra, also found in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, tracing legendary descent from Rajput princes who married Naika women, and traditionally dependent on agriculture and fishing They are an Indigenous people, with Dhodia as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the South Asian Tribal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Gujarati.
