The Rai of India, numbering approximately 819,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an indigenous community of India and can also be known as Raibhat, Raibhat, Khambu, Jimdar, Rai Sikh. They are an Indigenous people, in the South Himalayan people cluster of the Tibetan / Himalayan Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary religion is Ethnoreligion - Animism. They primarily speak Nepali.
