The Bhoyar of India, numbering approximately 259,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are an endogamous agricultural community of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh who claim descent from the Panwar Rajputs who defended Dhar against Aurangzeb. They are also known as Pawar and worship Sindhri Deo as their clan deity. They are an Indigenous people in the Hindi people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Hindi and their primary religion is Hinduism.
