The Kadia of India

The Kadia of India, numbering approximately 631,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are described as a masonry community of Gujarat with both Hindu and Muslim sections, the latter tracing descent from Rajput converts to Islam. Masonry remains their traditional occupation but is supplemented today by agriculture and salaried service They are an Indigenous people, with Kadia as their ethnic/kinship group and are in the Rajasthani people cluster of the South Asian Peoples. Their primary religion is Hinduism. They primarily speak Gujarati.
