The Korku of India, numbering approximately 1,150,000 people, are Engaged yet Unreached. They are a Scheduled Tribe of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra whose name combines koru (man) with a plural suffix. Cultivation remains their main occupation. They blend Hindu worship with older tribal beliefs. They are an Indigenous people in the Munda-Santal people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Korku and their primary religion is Animism.
