The Ghanchi of India

The Ghanchi of India, numbering approximately 130,000 people, are No Longer Unreached. They are a Muslim trading community of Rajasthan and Gujarat whose name derives from ganchi, a traditional oil-pressing device, historically engaged in pressing and selling oil alongside cultivation and wage labor. They are an Indigenous people in the Teli people cluster of the South Asian Peoples affinity bloc. Their primary language is Gujarati and their primary religion is Hinduism.
